A player may only run once in an inning. 17) Tie-Breaker System: Pool play games can end in a tie. If a playoff game is tied after all innings have been completed (or at time limit), the "California" tie-breaker rule will go into effect. Each team puts the batter who is scheduled to bat last in that respective half of the inning on second base, continue hitting from where last out was made, and plays out a full inning. This happens until the tie is broken and the game is complete. Higher seed is home team for all playoffs games including championship game! 18) All age groups can have at least one EH (Extra Hitter) if they choose to bat more than 9 players. If you start with 10, you must finish with 10 or take outs in vacated batting positions. EH must be declared at the start of the game -- an EH (10th) hitter may NOT be added after the starting lineup is submitted. EH is considered a defensive position, you may substitute on defense w/out letting umpire know unless the substitution is in pitching. All age groups may use either the DH or EH. Teams may not use both the EH and DH in a game. You may bat your entire roster that shows that day or the regular 9 or 10 like rules state. (Example: You may not hit 12 of the 14 players that show that day in any game. Must be everyone or regular 9 or 10) 19) RE-ENTRY: You may re-enter for starters one time , except on the mound. A player may not re-enter pitching once he has already pitched in that game. 20) No one may be in the dugout unless on the roster ( i.e. bat boys, coaches) 21) No swearing, use of profanity, foul language, or corruption of the game of any kind will be tolerated by any one person (coach, player, fan). Person/s in question will be removed from the premises for that event and possible future AWS events. Remember you are seen as a person of authority to the ballplayers so please act like a responsible adult!!! 22) No chewing tobacco, smokeless tobacco products, or smoking of any kind are allowed around AWS events. Runner cannot run over defensive player, bowl over, jump or dive over defensive player. For safety reasons player will be ejected for remainder of that game. They may play in the next game. 24) Ejections: Any player ejected will be removed from the game in question but allowed to play in the following game, unless the act is deemed as unsportsmanlike and malicious by the umpires and AWS staff. If that is the case, the player will sit out the next game. Any coach ejected will be removed from the game in question and not be allowed to coach in the following game (onsite tournament director may be able to override following game suspension after conducting an investigation). We expect coaches of youth baseball teams to know the consequences of their actions. 25) Pool Play Tie Breakers: For the purpose of tiebreakers in pool play, all wins are worth 2 pts, all ties are worth 1 pt, and losses are 0 pts. 26) If a player shows up to a game late, and he is on your team roster, he can enter the game as a substitute regardless of whether the coach added him onto the lineup card. All players that start the game in the dugout must be listed on the lineup card to be eligible to enter the game 27) NO TEAM will go to the playoffs/championship game who forfeits or fails to complete an entire game in the process of pool play w/ the intent to save pitching or proceed to playoffs due to this. 28) Play Hard & Have Fun! **** DIMENSIONS - TIME LIMITS - RUN RULES****

All World Sports - CONDUCT / GUIDELINES
It is the purpose of All World Sports Association- to conduct the best possible tournaments from all aspects. To obtain this goal AWS must have the cooperation of each player, manager, and coach. Teams are guests in the city that the tournament is being conducted. Nothing should occur that would reflect adversely on the teams, players, host city or AWS. Therefore, it is required that all teams in the tournament comply with the following rules: • Team managers must have full control of their players, coaches and spectators at all times. This means “on” and “off” the field.
